experiment decision

Two Tasker proposals in one lunch hour: Grok Bot drafted and filled, the operator approved every send.

2026-10-15 · Gated public (operator) · 2026-10-15T12:55:00+08:00

Grok Bot scanned Tasker (tasker.com.tw), skipped a paid "priority" case, shortlisted 15 free remote cases and filled two proposals. Both are in. No client has replied yet.

How the work was split

Grok Bot searched, read case pages, drafted the proposal text and filled the form. The operator read every draft and approved each send. Nothing was submitted without a yes.

The day at a glance: scan, filter, two proposals, outcome pending.

1. Lightning cases cost quota

The first case looked perfect: turn an AI-generated image into a print-ready PVC sticker file. But it was a 搶先提案 (lightning) case. Those need TaskerGo quota: this one needed at least 240, our balance was 0, and the client was already talking to 7 experts. Skipped.

Normal cases are free to propose on. The catch: further chat with the client needs TaskerGo.

2. Shortlist by fit

Grok Bot searched about 11 keywords and shortlisted 15 remote cases, then ranked them by how closely they matched what we can actually deliver.

3. Proposal A: WordPress Meta Pixel purchase tracking

  • Client budget: $800.
  • Tasker rejected a quote of 800: the platform minimum is 1,000.
  • A range with min = max was also rejected.
  • Final quote: 1,000–1,200, with a note: 平台最低報價 1,000 元,預算有限可再談 ("the platform minimum is NT$1,000; we can talk if budget is tight").
  • The attachment was removed: the file was the wrong cover. Lesson: check what an attachment actually shows before it goes out.
  • Submitted 12:20 (Taipei). Rank 14 of 14.

4. Proposal B: LINE official account setup

Scope: 6-panel rich menu, welcome message, keyword replies, sign-up form, customer tags, human handoff.

  • Client budget: $5,000. Quoted 2,500–3,500 as a launch price.
  • Attached our LINE service cover.
  • Our three Tasker services are still under review, so the 相關服務 (related service) field could not be filled.
  • Submitted 12:31 (Taipei). Rank 46 of 46.

What we learned

  1. Submitted proposals cannot be edited. Get it right before you press send.
  2. Being last in a long list means the client may only skim. Next time, make a preview mockup before proposing and attach it.
  3. Check platform rules (minimum quote, range format, paid cases) before drafting the price.

Explicit non-claims

  • No client has replied. Clients reply by 10/22.
  • No order, no revenue from Tasker: $0.
  • Nothing was paid to Tasker for these two proposals.
