experiment decision

The Lab homepage now reads like a person wrote it.

2026-10-23 · Gated public (operator) · 2026-10-23T21:42+08:00

We rewrote the Lab homepage in plain language: fewer board terms, Journal as short stories, real screenshots over illustrations. Public contact is the workroom, X, and GitHub only — no chat app or email on public pages.

What we believed

The Lab read like a status board: sparse copy, jargon, and little human reading value.

What we did

Approved a rewrite direction, then shipped preview before production: human-voice titles, real screenshots preferred over illustrations, latest Journal entries rewritten as short process stories. Public contact settled on the freelance workroom, X @Rockiorg, and GitHub — no LINE and no Email on public pages. Deploy stamp recorded; rollback path kept.

Reality

The site can now be read as “what happened that day” instead of a dashboard dump. Contact stays Tasker-safe on public pages.

What changed

  • Lab and the /tw path stay separate; Journal leads with short stories.
  • Public contact is workroom + X + GitHub only.
  • Preview first, then prod, with an explicit rollback deployment.

Explicit non-claims

  • No claim that traffic, leads, or revenue moved because of this rewrite.
  • No X post went out from this decision (account stays on cooldown / fully manual).
  • This entry does not assert any freelance listing went live the same day.
